Working an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth, you’ll join a collaborative Technical Services team at a modern underground operation that offers genuine career development, industry-leading technology and the opportunity to contribute to one of Australia’s highest-grade underground gold deposits.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in providing accurate and timely survey services that support safe, efficient and productive underground mining operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete underground and surface survey work to support mining operations.
• Conduct development and production mark-ups in accordance with mine plans.
• Maintain and validate survey control networks.
• Produce and maintain survey plans, statutory documentation and digital survey records.
• Complete cavity monitoring surveys and volume calculations.
• Support mine planning through accurate survey data and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with Technical Services and Operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, company standards and survey best practice.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and survey data management.

About You
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering accurate survey outcomes.
Ideally you’ll have:

• Qualifications in Mine Surveying, Spatial Science or a related discipline.
• Previous underground mine surveying experience (hard rock)
• Experience using Deswik is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience with Leica survey equipment will be highly regarded.
• Underground drone or Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) experience is advantageous but not essential.
