About the role

We are seeking a skilled Front End Loader Operator to join our team at our Newcastle Recycling Facility in Mayfield West. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for operating a range of heavy machinery to support the efficient processing and movement of recyclable materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment, with primary focus on front-end loader operations 
• Perform daily pre-start checks and routine inspections to ensure plant and equipment are safe and operational
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and quality standards
• Follow all site safety procedures, policies, and regulatory guidelines

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience operating front-end loaders in a waste management or similar environment.
• Solid understanding of waste management, resource recovery operations, and materials processing.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely and efficiently under minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Relevant operator tickets and licences.
