FAMILY ASSISTANT

Our client is looking for a reliable, warm and organised Family Assistant to help our household run smoothly during the school week. We have three children, aged 10, 10 and 9.

The role

•      Casual, for a period of four weeks or more, with the possibility of extending

•      Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

•      Up to 35 hours per week

•      Split shifts. Typically, a morning block, followed by an afternoon or early evening block

•      Start date: 12 August 2026

What you will do

•      School drop off, and pick up if required

•      After school supervision at extra-curricular activities

•      Meal planning and meal preparation for the family

•      Lunch box preparation

•      Washing children's uniforms and clothing

•      Light domestic tasks, such as cleaning the kitchen after meal preparation

•      Organising bags and uniforms for the following day

What we are looking for

•      Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)

•      Previous paid or professional experience working with children

•      Current driver’s licence and a confident, safe driver

•      Confident preparing for or cooking simple family meals

•      Punctual, self-directed and able to keep to a routine

•      Two contactable references

Well regarded, but not essential

•      First aid and CPR certificate

•      Experience with primary school aged children

•      Non smoker

Other details

•      A car and petrol are provided while undertaking tasks for the children or the family

•      Based in Sunrise Beach, Noosa area. Schools and activities are local
