Independent Timber Supplies are a WA business that is locally owned and been operating for over 30 years. We service a range of Project Builders, Custom Builders and Owner Builders with our timber supply and the Manufacturing of prefab frames and trusses in the Western Australian building market.
Our Opportunity for you!
We are seeking an energetic and results driven Forklift Operator who is experienced in Forklift Picking to a KPI rate using a side loading LF/Combi. This role will offer you the chance to earn well over award and grow into a bonus structure.
About the role:
Picking timber lengths per picking slips accurately and safely to set daily rates.
Safely operating a forklift in a busy yard.
Using equipment or machinery to join timber for specialised orders.
Maintaining a clean and safe work area within a team environment.
To be successful you will need:
Forklift licence - current.
Willingness for Drug and Alcohol testing prior to employment and understanding during employment random testing is conducted.
Willingness to submit a Police Check, if required for role.
Be able to demonstrate at interview experience in similar roles.
Wanting a long-term employment and earning potential.
Be able to work Fulltime hours comprising of 10-hour shifts daily- Monday to Friday – between the hours of 4am to 4:30pm.
Timber Industry experience and forklift/Combi experience is desirable, however not a pre-requisite as the person will be fully trained in the position and on the equipment.
