About the role

We are looking for an Experienced Plasterer to join our team on a full-time basis in Devonport, TAS 7310. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled plasterer to contribute to a variety of residential and commercial plastering projects. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering professional plastering work whilst maintaining our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. You will work alongside our experienced team, taking on diverse projects and developing your skills further within a supportive and professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for plastering.

• Apply plaster and other finishing materials to interior and exterior walls, ceilings and other surfaces using appropriate techniques

• Use hand tools and mechanical equipment safely and effectively to achieve smooth, even finishes

• Read and interpret specifications, plans and design requirements for each project

• Ensure all work meets relevant building codes, standards and client specifications

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors and clients.

• Travel to various job sites within the local area as required

• Perform quality checks and touch-ups to ensure finished work meets our high standards

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a plasterer, ideally with a minimum of two years of experience in residential and/or commercial settings

• Solid knowledge of plastering techniques, materials and best practice methods

• Proficiency in using standard plastering tools and equipment

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and plans accurately

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes

• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in various positions for extended periods

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Valid driver's license and reliable transport to access job sites

• Current or ability to obtain relevant white card or other certifications as required in Tasmania

• A proactive approach to health and safety on site
