Delivery Driver

Morning Market is a welcoming corner store showcasing quality seasonal produce, flowers, groceries, baked goods, and meals for home.

With store locations in Gertrude Street, Fitzroy and High Street, Prahran, each store is a meeting place, offering quality local produce with cakes, baked goods, seasonal sandwiches, salads and meals all made in-house by our team of chefs.

Morning Market is seeking an enthusiastic delivery driver to join our team.

We are looking for a punctual candidate with good time management, communication and organisational skills. Drivers are responsible for delivering food and other items for our rapidly growing brands as well as general warehouse duties.  The position is a part-time role with early starts and early finishes.

Driver Responsibilities:

• Transporting food items to our set locations

• Facilitating vehicle maintenance checks and necessary repairs

• Delivering packages to customers in a timely manner

• Picking up office purchases or other administrative needs

• Utilising navigation apps to find the most optimal route

• General warehouse duties including picking, packing and cleaning

• Ensuring that vehicles have sufficient fuel and are always ready for use

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience as a driver or role in logistics

• Strong foundation of common sense, and adaptability

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• A valid driver's license and good driving record

• Physical strength and ability to lift up to 20kg

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication

• Hospitality experience is highly regarded
