Document Controller / Project Administrator

Based in the project-centric region of Northern Territory. As a permanent, full-time position, this role offers an exciting and dynamic opportunity for a talented professional!

As a Document Controller / Project Administrator at Sitzler Pty Ltd, you will be an integral part of the Risk and Commercial department, based in project locations across Northern Territory.

About You

You are highly organised, proactive and thrive in a fast-paced construction environment. You have exceptional attention to detail, strong administrative capability and enjoy working collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders.

To be successful, you will bring:

• Recognised relevant qualification
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the construction industry
• Or other relevant qualification
• Or other relevant industry experience
• Comprehensive understanding of:
• ISO 9001 standard and other relevant quality standards
• Quality assurance principles, methodologies and their application
• Management system processes
• Experience in application of research methods and statistics
• Ability to monitor and maintain the document management and filing system of the project
• Nationally Recognised Construction Induction
• Drivers Licence

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing administrative support to project and commercial teams. 
• Provide proactive direction to workplace personnel ensuring they work efficiently and effectively in accordance with the Sitzler Management System and legislative obligations
• Ensure the Sitzler Management System requirements are implemented at the workplace and records maintained
• Ensure the quality control functions of project documentation is in line with business procedures and standards including peer review / formatting and securing of documentation prior to release
• Maintain all Document registers and procedures relating to the receipt and transmittal of project documents
• Maintain / Administer collaboration Platforms/DMS implemented on the project
• Expedite the review and approval of documentation and maintain current status
• Plan, supervise and record documentation flow to and from all necessary parties
• Issue and track location of documents and drawings
