State Operations Manager

The State Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operational activities within there given state including residential and commercial site inspections, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role leads local installation teams and trade contractors, manages client relationships, and drives operational efficiency to support the company’s growth and reputation in the market.

Your will also be responsible for conducting site visits for new Project opportunities and collaborate with our sales team to win new projects for NSW.

You will be the point of contact between Dream Courts and customer to arrange a mutually agreeable time to attend the site in question, providing recommendations on court layout, civil works and timeframes. You will measure and prepare notes on site, including draft sketches of court layout and civil works. You will work tirelessly to go above and beyond to satisfy customer demands, and importantly ensure site inspection is booked in a quick and timely manner. You are the frontline of Dream Courts business and are responsible to representing Dream Courts with the utmost professionalism. You are passionate about delivering exceptional levels of customer experience, sales and will drive the delivery of all KPI’s

Your areas of responsibility:

OPERATIONAL LEADERSHIP

·       Oversee daily operations and project delivery across the state.

·       Manage scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation for installations.

·       Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

·       Lead, mentor, and support state-based project and installation teams.

·       Conducting site visits for new Project opportunities and collaborate with our sales team to win new projects for NSW.

·       Provide ongoing support to our leaders to help grow their respective business areas and increase profitability

·       Support and develop existing processes as well as implement new processes to ensure consistency and compliance across all operations 

·       Identify and assist with all new strategic profitable initiatives 

·       Maximise all opportunities

·       Collaborating with each department to ensure requirements are understood and supported

·       Ensuring adherence to all business policies and procedures (including standard operating procedures, OHS and employment manuals)

·       Manager and control Monday.com projects board

·       Product ordering (netting)

·       Lightyear bill approval for state based bills

·       Asset management 

·       Staff management (state)

·       Tool management (servicing, ordering)

·       Commercial end of job support as required

PROJECT AND CLIENT MANAGEMENT

·       Act as the primary point of contact for state-level clients.

·       Oversee project timelines, budgets, and client expectations.

·       Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality.

·       Resolve client issues and escalations efficiently and professionally.

·       DIY job management

·       New Project site inspection

FINANCIAL AND PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

·       Track KPIs including delivery timelines, client satisfaction, and safety compliance.

·       Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

·        Site checks on installers 

·        

·       Comply with sercive standards and monitor the delivery of appropriate training to team members (where required) that will enable them to deliver superior experiences to customers

·       Driving sales and profitability through site inspections

·       Support the finance team to deliver EPITDA targets
