We are seeking a skilled and qualified panel beater to join our team at our head office in Bayswater North. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in panel beating, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.

About the Role:

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for working on heavy vehicles, drawing on your trade qualifications in panel beating or similar. You will effectively collaborate within a team environment while also demonstrating the capability to work independently when needed. Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential, as is your commitment to maintaining workplace policies and adhering to WHS standards. While a background in heavy vehicles is preferred, it is not a requirement for this position.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Removing, repairing, and replacing panels and components

• Repairing dents, scratches, and other exterior damage

• Prepping surfaces for painting and refinishing

• Stripping and refitting heavy-duty trim and body components, ensuring everything fits securely

• Working closely with painters, estimators, and your team to deliver results on schedule

• Always following Work Health & Safety (WHS) policies and procedures

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop

 Your skills & experience

• Trade qualification certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology or equivalent

• Heavy Vehicle background (preferred but not essential)

• Strong technical skills in panel repair

• Ability to work accurately and efficiently to meet deadlines

• Commitment to workplace health and safety

• Passion for delivering high-quality workmanship
