Warehouse Officer

At Site Investigation Supply, we’re looking for someone who wants more than just a warehouse job.

We’re a growing Australian business supplying specialised equipment to the environmental and drilling industries, and we’re looking for someone who will take pride in running our warehouse as if it were their own.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day organisation and operation of the warehouse. The majority of your day will be spent picking, packing, receiving stock, maintaining inventory and keeping the warehouse running efficiently. Alongside the physical warehouse work, you’ll also complete some computer-based administration to ensure our inventory and product information remain accurate.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to improve processes, take ownership and make a genuine impact on how the warehouse operates.

Your day will include

• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders

• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries

• Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift

• Organising stock and maintaining warehouse locations

• Labelling shelves and products

• Performing stocktakes and maintaining inventory accuracy

• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and efficient

• Updating inventory and product information using our systems

• Assisting with product information, labelling and website updates

• Working with the General Manager to continually improve warehouse processes

• Is comfortable using a computer and learning new systems

• Takes ownership of their work and sees tasks through to completion

Essential Requirements

• Current Driver’s Licence

• Previous warehouse, stores or dispatch experience

• Experience picking and packing customer orders

• Good computer skills

• Ability to perform manual handling as part of daily warehouse duties
