Role Description The Videographer role is a part-time, on-site position based in Parramatta, NSW. The Videographer will plan, shoot, and produce high-quality video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and brand storytelling. Day-to-day tasks include operating cameras and related equipment, setting up lighting, capturing footage on-site or in studio environments, and collaborating with the creative team to execute visual concepts that align with client brand guidelines. The role also involves organizing and maintaining video equipment, coordinating with clients and team members during shoots, and preparing footage for handoff to editors. The Videographer is expected to contribute creative ideas, maintain a professional on-set presence, and support consistent delivery of engaging visual content.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong video production skills, including planning, shooting, and basic knowledge of post-production workflows.Candidates should possess solid camera operation skills, including setting exposure, framing shots, and managing different camera systems.Candidates should possess lighting skills, including setting up and adjusting lighting for indoor and outdoor shoots to achieve consistent quality.Candidates should possess hands-on experience in shooting video, including working in fast-paced environments and capturing content for social media platforms.Candidates should possess practical skills with camera equipment, including care, setup, and troubleshooting of lenses, tripods, and accessories.Relevant experience in commercial, social media, or branded content production is beneficial.Ability to work on-site in Parramatta, NSW, collaborate with a creative team, follow project briefs, and meet deadlines.Strong visual storytelling skills, attention to detail, and understanding of current social media and digital content trends are advantageous.A portfolio or showreel demonstrating videography work is highly preferred.
