About the Role:

MEC NT are seeking an experienced Communications & Technology Services Supervisor to join our growing Communications division.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating technicians, subcontractors and project activities across a diverse range of communications, fibre, security and technology infrastructure projects throughout the Northern Territory.

This position would suit an experienced Communications Supervisor, Leading Hand or Senior Communications Technician looking to take the next step in their career.

What you'll be doing:

Working alongside our Project Managers and Operations Team, you will be responsible for:

• Supervising communications technicians, apprentices and subcontractors

• Coordinating day-to-day project delivery activities

• Structured cabling and fibre infrastructure projects

• CCTV, access control and integrated technology systems

• Quality control, testing and commissioning activities

• Safety leadership and workforce coordination

• Procurement and material planning

• Mentoring and development of junior personnel

• Client and stakeholder interaction
  

What we're looking for

• Telecommunications, communications or technology services experience

• Australian Citizens

• Defence clearance or able to obtain

• Experience supervising field-based personnel

• Strong structured cabling and fibre optic knowledge

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation

• High attention to quality and safety

• A proactive and solutions-focused attitude

ACMA Registration, Fibre Endorsements and Defence project experience will be highly regarded.
