About the role
About the RoleWe are looking for a talented Senior Learning Designerto lead the research, commissioning and development of innovative, market-leading products and services within our Primary Mahematics portfolio that align with business strategy and support sales and growth targets. Key Responsibilities: Research, commission and develop a range of educational products and services (both print and digital) for the Primary Mathematics publishing portfolio across Years F–6. Contribute to the strategic direction of the Primary Education Product team, particularly in the Mathematics portfolio, and leverages AI to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality. Is connected to the education market, including in-school classroom observations, prototype trialling, conference and webinar attendance. Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders that support the creation and promotion of key products and services. Work cooperatively with Product and Data coordinators to ensure publishing administration is efficiently managed. About You Essential: Degree/postgraduate qualification in Primary Education or equivalent industry experience Experience in learning design with emphasis on digital learning solutions that address customer needs improve teaching and learning outcomes Experience in educational publishing or related field, including digital-first ways of working, including integration of AI Knowledge of the Australian education market, including understanding of the use/application of digital technologies to enhance product design and improve learning experiences and outcomes Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent project management skills, organisational skills and an ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines Ability to work independently and as part of a team High proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite) Desirable: Qualification in Publishing and Editing and/or Learning Design Benefits: Highly flexible working environment Two work-from-home days per week and rostered Friday afternoons off (fortnightly) Access to contemporary offices and facilities close to Southern Cross Station Varied learning and development opportunities The opportunity to support Skyline Education Foundation through our Workplace Giving Program Comprehensive wellbeing program, including an EAP available to you and your family Other enterprise level benefits including Long Service Leave at 5 years, 2 days of paid Volunteering Leave and Study Leave per year and more If you possess the right skills for this role and want to join our hardworking and motivated team, please submit your cover letter and full resume, telling us why you are the best person for the job, in one PDF.
