The Switch isn't your average student accommodation or co-living operator — we're building a community-led lifestyle brand for the next generation of students, creatives, young professionals and entrepreneurs. And in October 2026, we're opening the doors to our newest 491-bed property in one of Sydney's fastest-growing innovation precincts: The Switch Lachlan Macquarie Park.

We're looking for a Customer Service Representative who genuinely loves people — someone who can walk into a room, read what a member needs, and make their day better before they've even asked. This is a role for someone who sees every interaction, big or small, as a chance to create a great experience.

What you'll be doing:

• Being the first face and first point of contact for our members, guests and customers — in person, on the phone, and online

• Listening to what our members actually need and finding ways to solve it, not just refer it on

• Building real relationships with our community so people feel seen, not just housed

• Handling enquiries and communications across email, phone and social with warmth and speed

• Organising, promoting and running events and pop-ups that bring our community together

• Supporting the behind-the-scenes side of the experience — property viewings, contracts, lease documents and admin — so everything runs smoothly for our members

• Keeping shared spaces looking and feeling great, because presentation is part of the experience too

What you'll bring:

• A genuine love of working with people, ideally from hospitality, student accommodation, co-working or another customer-facing industry

• The emotional intelligence to read a room and adjust — patient with one member, energetic with the next

• Great communication skills across every channel

• Comfort with tech — we use it in every part of the member experience

• Mandarin language skills are a bonus

• A natural ability to connect with our core community: Gen Z
