Customer Account Manager - Sales Representative

Based at our Mackay site and reporting to the Agriculture Sales & Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing an established customer portfolio while identifying new opportunities across the agricultural sector.

What you’ll be doing

• Build and nurture long-term customer relationships, acting as a trusted partner by understanding their business and offering technical advice, product knowledge, and tailored solutions.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your territory to grow sales and exceed monthly sales and margin targets.

• Promote OTR’s products and services across the agriculture market and manage your territory effectively, which includes regular regional travel.

You’ll ideally have

• Proven experience in sales, customer account management, parts interpreting, or a similar industry role, ideally within the agriculture sector.

• Strong mechanical aptitude or trade background, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, proactively develop new business, and manage your own territory—including regional travel for approximately two weeks per month.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, plus a current and valid Driver’s Licence.
