Lead Sitecore Developer

Adactin is seeking a suitably qualified Lead Sitecore Developer to support a significant digital transformation initiative involving the migration of our current Sitecore XP environment to Sitecore AI/XM Cloud. Overview of ServicesThe Lead Sitecore Developer will be responsible for:Providing technical leadership and architecture guidance for the Sitecore migration program.Assessing and defining the target-state architecture for Sitecore AI/XM Cloud.Designing, developing and implementing the migration approach.Leading and mentoring internal development team throughout the transition.Establishing development standards, patterns and best practices.Supporting planning, estimation, risk identification and technical decision-making.
Supporting ApplicationsThe resource will also be required to assess and recommend migration, consolidation or replacement strategies for associated platforms including:SearchStaxDigital Asset Management (DAM) solutionsPHP-based applications and websitesOther Sitecore-integrated components identified during discovery DeliverablesThe Lead Sitecore Developer will provide architecture leadership, technical oversight, hands-on development and mentoring to support delivery of the migration.The successful resource will be expected to:Current state assessmentTarget architecture documentMigration strategyMigration roadmapTechnical design standardsDevelopment patterns and governance frameworkKnowledge transfer planTransition-to-support documentation Required Skills and ExperienceSitecore XP and XM Cloud experienceSitecore AI experienceAzure DevOps experienceHeadless architecture experienceSitecore Content Hub or DAM experienceExperience leading enterprise CMS migrationsExperience mentoring development teams Working ArrangementApplicant must be based in Australia.Hybrid working arrangement consisting of three (3) days onsite and two (2) days remote per week.Applicant must be available during Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST/AEDT) business hours.
