About the role
An exciting opportunity has opened within our Manufacturing team for a Manufacturing Trainer. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about developing people, sharing knowledge and driving continuous improvement.
You’ll play an important role in supporting our manufacturing operations by building capability, improving processes and helping to ensure consistent, safe and high-quality ways of working across the site.

About the roleAs the Manufacturing Trainer, you’ll be responsible for delivering technical training across Manufacturing, Warehousing and Safety, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and employee development.
Working closely with teams across Operations, you’ll help ensure training programs, processes and standards are maintained to support safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes.
What you'll be doingDeliver training and assessments for manufacturing operators, including onboarding, upskilling and cross-skilling programs.
Create, maintain and update SOPs, training materials and e-learning content.
Maintain training records and identify capability gaps.
Coach and mentor team members in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies, including 5S.
Support the implementation of new products, equipment and manufacturing processes.
Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Warehousing, R&D and Operations teams to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
Identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and retraining where required.
You'll bring:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally 5+ years.
Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and best practices.
An understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and 5S principles.
The ability to communicate technical information clearly and engage employees at all levels.
Strong documentation skills, including developing and maintaining SOPs and training records.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive, organised and process-focused approach.
Previous experience delivering training, coaching or mentoring within a manufacturing environment.
Experience developing training materials, work instructions or e-learning content.
Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.
Formal qualification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement.
