The Opportunity

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our Rocklea  manufacturing facility.

Reporting to the Production Lead, you will be responsible for leading, coaching and developing production teams while ensuring safety, quality, productivity and service targets are achieved. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop production team members to achieve operational objectives.

• Create labour plans and staff rosters aligned to production schedules and customer requirements.

• Monitor daily production performance and implement corrective actions where required.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and food manufacturing standards.

• Drive accountability, engagement and performance across the production team.

• Identify production bottlenecks and work collaboratively to implement solutions.

• Develop and maintain cross-training plans to build workforce capability and flexibility.

• Work closely with Quality, Supply Chain and Continuous Improvement teams to achieve business outcomes.

• Investigate and resolve production issues, non-conformances and customer complaints.

• Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop others.

• Experience managing performance and addressing employee relations matters.

• Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.

• A proactive approach with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Sound knowledge of workplace safety and quality systems.

• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

• A continuous improvement mindset, with Lean Manufacturing experience highly regarded.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm, with flexibility to work reasonable overtime when required.
