HR Manager/Business Partner

We're seeking an emerging HR professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and grow into a true business partnering role. This could also suit a more senior HR Manager who is looking for something closer to home. Based at our Caboolture operation and working closely with experienced site leaders, this is an outstanding opportunity for either person who enjoys being hands-on, building relationships and supporting people leaders to achieve business outcomes.

In this role you'll be visible, approachable and actively involved in the day-to-day people activities that keep a large manufacturing operation running effectively. From recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, training coordination and leadership support, you'll play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture while continuing to develop your own HR capability. We are advertising for full time, however, we welcome conversations around part time or other flexible working arrangements for the right candidate.

About the role

Reporting to the Site Manager and working as part of the broader HR team, you will provide practical HR support across a diverse workforce while contributing to key people initiatives.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating end-to-end recruitment activities across a variety of roles.
• Supporting managers through employee onboarding and induction programs.
• Assisting with performance, conduct and employee relations processes.
• Providing advice and guidance to leaders on HR policies, procedures and workplace matters.
• Coordinating training, compliance and workforce development activities.
• Maintaining HR records, reporting and employment documentation.
• Supporting employee engagement and culture initiatives.
• Assisting with workforce planning, succession planning and talent development activities.
• Working closely with operational leaders to deliver practical people solutions.

Experience within manufacturing, industrial, logistics, forestry or blue-collar environments will be highly regarded, however it is not essential.

About you

To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a HR Advisor, Coordinator, Business Partner or similar role.
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline (or be working towards completion).
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• A practical, solution-focused approach and the confidence to work with a range of stakeholders.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional integrity.
• The ability to build credibility and influence through relationships rather than authority.
• A genuine passion for helping people and supporting leaders.
