About the role

Reporting into the business, the IT Infrastructure Lead will oversee day-to-day infrastructure operations, provide technical guidance, support issue resolution, and contribute to continuous improvement across systems, networks, security, and service delivery. This role will suit someone who is technically strong, solutions-focused, and confident working with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be Doing

As the IT Infrastructure Lead, your key responsibilities will include:

• Design, maintain, and optimise core IT infrastructure services.

• Administer and support Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS environments.

• Implement and manage cloud architectures, identity integrations, and governance controls.

• Maintain and configure network systems, including Meraki and Cisco Secure Access.

• Oversee server, identity, and authentication services across hybrid environments.

• Implement automation across infrastructure and Service Desk workflows using PowerShell, Python, and Infrastructure as Code.

• Maintain and support security platforms, including CrowdStrike, Abnormal Email Security, and KnowBe4.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong technical background across infrastructure, cloud, networking, security, and automation, along with the ability to lead, influence, and communicate effectively across the business.

• Ability to act as a senior escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Knowledge of emerging technologies, cloud advancements, and infrastructure best practices.

• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a strong commitment to service delivery, reliability, and continuous improvement.

• Demonstrated experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, network support, or a similar technical leadership role.

• Confident troubleshooting technical issues and delivering practical, business-focused solutions.

• Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

• You enjoy working collaboratively while also being comfortable taking ownership of tasks and outcomes.
