We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Safety Manager to join our Safety Team in Mascot, NSW. The successful candidate will lead the way in fostering a proactive, high-performing safety culture.
This is a hands-on, standalone role with end-to-end responsibility for the safety function. This person will drive continuous improvement initiatives, influence positive safety behaviours, and work closely with stakeholders to build a safe, compliant, and resilient workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Implement, maintain, and improve KONE’s safety management systemSet safety objectives and drive management commitmentLead safety committees and forums within the unitMonitor compliance through audits and risk assessmentsManage incident investigations and corrective actionsDevelop and deliver safety communication and training programsCollaborate with customers and partners on safety initiativesSupport crisis and emergency response planning
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field5+ years of experience in safety management, preferably in an industrial sectorStrong knowledge of safety regulations and management systemsExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience in project and change management
