As we continue to grow, we're looking for an exceptional Reservations Manager to lead our Reservations and HIVE (Call Centre) team at 1 Hotel Melbourne.

About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Rooms, you'll lead the Reservations team while partnering closely with Sales, Events, Front Office and Revenue Management to maximise commercial performance and create seamless guest experiences.
You'll be responsible for:Leading and developing the Reservations and HIVE teams to deliver exceptional guest service.Managing room inventory, availability and booking strategy to maximise revenue opportunities.Overseeing group reservations and ensuring a seamless experience from enquiry through to arrival.Working collaboratively with the Revenue team to implement pricing, inventory and distribution strategies.Partnering with Sales and Events to optimise group business and conversion.Identifying opportunities to improve processes, guest satisfaction and commercial outcomes.Coaching, mentoring and developing a high-performing reservations team.
As a leader within the hotel, you'll be visible, collaborative and committed to creating an environment where your team can thrive while consistently delivering the elevated service our guests expect.
About You
You're a commercially minded hospitality professional who understands that reservations is more than processing bookings—it's about creating confidence, building relationships and driving revenue.
You'll bring
Previous leadership experience within Reservations in a luxury hotel environment.Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of revenue management principles.Experience managing room inventory, forecasting demand and maximising revenue opportunities.Outstanding organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.A collaborative leadership style with a genuine passion for coaching and developing people.Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across all departments.A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach.The flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, 24-hour luxury hotel environment.
