About the role
Truck Driver / Line Marker Operator
Mackay Regional Council is seeking a dedicated Truck Driver / Line Marker Operator to join our Civil Construction Pavements team, based at the Paget Depot. This role involves a range of tasks related to the maintenance and construction of roads, drainage, and other civil infrastructure. You will be engaged in earthworks, concrete work, pipelaying, bitumen applications, and vegetation management.
About this opportunity:
The key responsibilities include operating heavy combination trucks to transport materials and equipment, as well as engaging in hands-on labour for road and drainage maintenance and construction. This role also involves assisting with various tasks such as earthworks, concrete works, pipelaying, bitumen work, and vegetation management. Additionally, it is essential to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures throughout all operations.
