Head housekeeper

About the role

As the Head Housekeeper at The John Flynn College, you will be responsible for leading and managing the housekeeping team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across the college facilities. This full-time position is based in Douglas, QLD 4814 and will involve overseeing all aspects of the housekeeping operations.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and directing the housekeeping team to complete all cleaning tasks to a high standard

• Developing and implementing cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain efficiency and quality

• Ordering and managing cleaning supplies and equipment to meet the college's needs

• Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets the required standards

• Liaising with other departments to address any housekeeping-related issues

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of housekeeping operations

• Proficient in the use of cleaning equipment and supplies
