Horizontal Directional Drilling – Driller & Tracker (Immediate Start)

Work across VIC, NSW & ACT with a well‑established telecommunications civil contractor operating for over 15 years.

We are expanding our HDD teams and are seeking motivated Drillers and Drill Trackers who want long‑term stability, modern equipment, and a supportive crew culture. If you have experience in drilling, locating or civil telecommunications, we want to hear from you.

About the Roles

You’ll be working with Vermeer and Tracto HDD rigs and DCI locating systems across a variety of civil and telecommunications projects. These positions suit operators who take pride in their work, value safety, and can work independently when required.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Horizontal directional drilling

• Drill tracking & asset locating

• General truck driving (MR/HR)

• Plan reading & DBYD interpretation

• Working safely around live assets and mains

• Excavator operation

• Equipment maintenance and cleaning

• Working independently when required

• Strong commitment to safety and quality

Required Certificates & Licences

• White Card

• MR or HR Truck Licence

• CPR

• Traffic Management (advantage)

• First Aid (advantage)
