Cladding Installer / Roofer - Barossa Valley

Wonganella Constructions is a Barossa-based construction company specialising in commercial and industrial roofing and cladding, structural steel erection and steel building construction. 

We are looking for an experienced Cladding Installer / Roofer to join our team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently as part of a small crew and is looking for more variety than simply doing the same type of roofing job every day. 

The Role

Our work is varied and includes:

·        Commercial and industrial roofing

·        Roof and wall cladding – CGI, Kliplok and similar systems 

·        Architectural and FC cladding

·        Flashings, gutters, downpipes and rainheads 

·        Structural steel erection

·        Shed and industrial building construction 

·        Working with cranes, EWPs and lifting operations 

·        Industrial, water infrastructure, quarry and larger construction sites 

You'll work as part of a small team across a range of projects, with opportunities to take on greater responsibility as your capability develops. 

About You

We're looking for someone who:

·        Has solid roofing, cladding or similar construction experience 

·        Can read and work from drawings

·        Has good practical and problem-solving skills 

·        Works safely and reliably

·        Takes pride in quality workmanship

·        Can work independently without constant supervision 

·        Works well within a small team

·        Is willing to take responsibility and think ahead 

·        Wants a long-term position with the opportunity to develop 

Previous experience leading or coordinating others would be highly regarded, but isn't essential. 

Required

·        Construction White Card

·        Current driver's licence

·        Working at Heights

·        EWP Yellow Card

Highly Regarded

·        Roof Plumbing qualification or experience 

·        EWP over 11m (WP)

·        Dogging (DG)

·        Forklift (LF)

·        HR driver's licence

·        Structural steel erection experience
