Process Operator - Packer

A prominent tolling manufacturer based in Coolaroo, Victoria, is currently looking to expand its team by hiring Packers/Operators. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the packaging process, handling a diverse array of products that vary in size, container type, and composition. Your responsibilities will include packing items such as powders, liquids, and pastes, ensuring that each product is prepared for distribution with the utmost care and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

·    Packing Products Accurately and Efficiently: Packers are responsible for pulling, packing, weighing, and labeling products based on daily orders. They must ensure that all packages are properly sealed and meet the specific requirements for shipment or storage

·    Performing Routine Quality Checks and Recording Results: Quality control is a vital part of a packer's duties. They must conduct inspections, ensuring that products meet quality standards before packaging.

·    Following All Health and Safety Procedures: Packers must adhere to health and safety regulations to minimize risks in the workplace.

·    Always Wearing and Maintaining Correct PPE: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is critical in maintaining safety standards. Packers are required to wear appropriate PPE, such as gloves, masks, and safety goggles
