About Curriculum and Learning
The
Curriculum and Learning Division is responsible for supporting
educators within the public education
system to
provide the best learning possible to our children and young
people. Driving its work is the Strategy
for Public
Education and the achievement of our ambitions for our learners.
The Division has responsibility
for all
curriculum and learning initiatives, policies, and programmes and
has recently undergone a functional
design
process resulting in the establishment of six directorates, four of
which are new to the division.

The Curriculum Connections and Engagement directorate drives collaborative engagement with all system leaders and external partners, supporting the integrated delivery of key projects, events, and communications for transformative impact.
About the role
As a key member of the Curriculum Connections and Engagement directorate, the Project Officer, Marketing plays a strategic role in elevating the profile and impact of the division’s resources and initiatives. The Project Officer Marketing leads efforts to improve how resources and services are communicated, accessed, and utilised by school sites and leaders.
Acting as a bridge between curriculum development and educator engagement, the Project Officer, Marketing designs and delivers responsive marketing solutions that ensure divisional offerings are clearly communicated, effectively promoted, and widely adopted across the South Australian education workforce.
The Project Officer, Marketing uses analytics and educator feedback to deliver data-driven insights, supporting the division to refine and improve marketing and communication strategies. The project Officer requires a combination of creative content development and technical marketing proficiency and involves close partnership with the department’s central communications team to champion and strengthen support for educators.
Qualifications
Essential: Nil
Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing or related discipline.
Special conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
ASO6 $105,747- $111,854 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
