Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) - Preschool

We are in seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher for our wonderful Preschool room at Majura Park Childcare Centre.

The ideal candidate will be an inspiring, passionate, and caring individual committed to providing the best for their children while mentoring a team of equally passionate professionals.

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Cherish and nurture young children with respect and passion.

• Understand each child as an individual, honouring their unique routines, and supporting their daily care and education.

• Stimulate their developing minds by creating and implementing educational activities spontaneously or based on a child's immediate interest.

• Communicate effectively with families, sharing the wonderful progress of their children.

• Help families feel comfortable with you and your team caring for their most precious beings.

• Lead, mentor, and support your team to ensure the smooth operation of the room.

• Embrace fun, setting an example by finding joy and passion in your work whilst still ensuring professionalism.

Who We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking someone who:

✅ A recognised Australian Early Childhood Education teaching qualification (Bachelor's / master's degree preferred). 3+ years experience as a qualified Early Childhood Teacher preferred.
✅ Hold and ACT WWVP Card - Essential No card, No Start.
✅ Wants to make a lasting, positive impact in children's lives
✅ Excellent written and verbal communication
✅ Ability to lead, coach and collaborate with a highly capable and motivate team
✅ Loves to explore, play and have fun alongside children

✅Full Australian work rights

✅Create and support a child safe culture.

Substantial experience is highly desired and will be well remunerated.

The successful candidate will need to be fully immunized against MMR, Chickenpox and Whooping cough.
