In this role, you'll:

Work within our Future Operations Team within the Operations Management Branch of the Coordinator General division at Transport for NSW, with a focus on supporting the management and maintenance of critical operational data for the Operations Management (OM) business.

This role will see you analyses business data, provides reports and develops dashboards to support decision making for the OM executives.

You will be liaising with other parts of the business that will include speaking with custodians of the data, manipulating data and building queries for large and complex data sets like a statewide road network.

About you

Your tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience will see you also bringing strong skills in GIS Spatial data and developing complex queries for relational databases.

You’re recognised for being a problem solver, an independent thinker and someone with initiative that can search out solutions and reach out and ask the right questions with stakeholders.

In addition to this you also have experience working in an operational environment and ideally a working knowledge of an operational incident management environment.

This is an Award Transport Grade 8 Permanent Full-Time role based in Eveleigh Transport Management Centre (TMC).  The role will also consider candidates based in Newcastle or Wollongong able to come to Eveleigh when required with flexibility through our cutting-edge hybrid working model!.
