Geotechnical Engineer

EI Australia is looking for a motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing team in Pyrmont, Sydney.

We work across a range of projects tied to building, ground engineering and site investigation works, supporting developers, contractors and consultants across Sydney. With a strong pipeline of work, we are looking for someone who can step in and contribute from day one.

The Role

You will be involved across both site and office, supporting project delivery from investigation through to reporting and design input.

Key responsibilities include:

• Site investigations including drilling, logging and supervision

• Soil and rock classification

• Preparation of geotechnical reports and recommendations

• Liaising with clients, contractors and internal teams

• Supporting foundation design and ground engineering solutions

• Working across multiple projects at different stages

About You

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering

• 1-3 years experience within geotechnical or ground engineering environments

• Strong understanding of site investigation and reporting

• Knowledge of Australian Standards and regulations.

• Confident communicator, able to deal with clients and site teams

• Comfortable working both on site and in the office

• Based in Sydney or able to start immediately
