The Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety is looking for passionate people to join us as Child Safety Officers (CSOs) in Cairns Whether you’re a graduate or changing careers, if you have experience or interest in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or similar — this could be your next step.

This environment creates a strong, community‑focused culture across our Cairns CSSCs, where staff work closely with children, families and local communities. In this role, you may travel to nearby towns or occasionally fly to remote areas to support families.
