About the Role

Roads 2000 are currently seeking highly experienced Asphalt Crew Members to join our Asphalt Team based in Wangara WA, working across Perth Metro and Regional jobs. This role will have you reporting the Asphalt Laying Supervisor's and Manager as part of the Operational Team. With varied hours on offer, successful candidates require flexibility and availability to work day shift, night shift, weekends and away work. 

The successful candidate will hold:

• Valid HR Driver’s License (unrestricted)

• Hold a White Card, (valid in WA)

• Be able to pass Drug and Alcohol and Pre-Employment medical tests

• Be able to pass a Police Clearance

• Have reliable transport as public transport is limited

Skills, experience and qualifications:

• Experience within the asphalt industry and pavement (preferred)

• Raking & Shovelling, Manual Labour, Cleaning equipment, safely Operate machinery, Maintenance of machinery, Follow OH&S protocols at all times

• Demonstrated experience in operating asphalt machinery including paver, screed, multi- roller, steel drum roller and pedestrian roller, bobcat, shuttle buggy, W500, MTV, Pave set (machine tickets preferred but not essential)

• The ideal candidate will have experience working in a team environment, with great communication skills, a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
