Warehouse Storesperson

Full-Time | Dandenong South | 38 Hours per Week

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Stores & Operations Officer to join our team at Dandenong South.

This is a hands-on warehouse role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, and enjoys working as part of a team. You will play an important role in ensuring stock is received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day movement and control of stock within the warehouse, including receiving incoming goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, picking and packing customer orders, and preparing goods for dispatch.

You will also contribute to maintaining a safe, organised and efficient warehouse environment and work within our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.

·         Receive and safely unload supplier deliveries and incoming stock transfers

·         Check incoming goods against delivery documentation and report discrepancies or damaged stock

·         Unpack and process incoming containers efficiently

·         Ensure stock is correctly labelled, identified and stored

·         Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently

·         Check orders prior to dispatch and complete required documentation

·         Coordinate with transport providers to support timely deliveries

·         Conduct cycle counts and assist with annual stocktakes

·         Investigate and report stock variances

·         Maintain accurate inventory records and organised warehouse locations

·         Follow stock rotation requirements, including FIFO where applicable

·         Follow warehouse procedures, work instructions and ISO 9001:2015 requirements

·         Report non-conformances and assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement

·         Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse

·         Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely, where appropriately licensed

·         Report hazards, incidents and unsafe practices

·         Work collaboratively with the warehouse and broader operations team

·         Meet daily operational and productivity requirements

We are looking for someone who:

·         Has previous experience in a warehouse, stores or logistics environment

·         Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in getting things right

·         Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic

·         Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team

·         Has good organisational and time management skills

·         Is physically capable of performing the requirements of a warehouse role

·         Understands the importance of workplace safety and following procedures

·         Has experience with inventory control, picking and dispatch

·         Holds a current forklift licence.

·         Has a positive attitude and is willing to contribute to improving warehouse operations

·         Full-time, permanent position

·         38-hour working week
