The State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) is looking for a Manager Supervision (Operations and Assurance) to join our team!
This is an exciting opportunity to work in our State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) who regulates three statutory insurance schemes in NSW. This role leads our Operations and Assurance function which enables SIRA to strengthen its licensing, supervision and enforcement functions.

About the role
The Manager Operations and Assurance plays a key leadership role in strengthening SIRA's regulatory capability and ensuring our licensing, supervision and enforcement functions are efficient, consistent and effective. Working across Regulatory Operations, the role drives practical improvements to regulatory processes, supports the implementation of SIRA's Regulatory Framework, and helps build confidence in the way we regulate statutory insurance schemes in NSW. The role has a direct impact on the quality of regulatory decision-making, the capability of our teams and our ability to deliver outcomes that protect customers, support scheme integrity and promote public trust.
Your responsibilities will include:Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of SIRA's licensing, supervision and enforcement functions.Supporting implementation and oversight of SIRA's Regulatory Framework.Establishing consistent regulatory processes, procedures and templates across Regulatory Operations.Responsibility for SIRA's internal review function, ensuring appropriate, lawful and quality decisions.Leading SIRA's regulatory auditing program.Delivering education and capability-building activities across Regulatory Operations.Deliver regulatory strategies that build public trust and reinforce the role of the regulatorFoster strong relationships with industry, regulators, and stakeholders to promote leadership and influence future practicesAbout you:A leader who will deliver results through positively engaging their team.An analytical thinker who can think outside the box to solve complex problems. Essential Requirements
