About the role
Ruah is a leading values-driven employer in Western Australia’s community services sector. Our staff go boldly, not just supporting people in need, but working to end homelessness, end domestic violence and create opportunities for people struggling with poverty and mental health challenges.
Our professional team of operational and corporate services staff is backed by one of WA’s biggest Peer support workforces. Our staff reflect our commitment to diversity and inclusion, where difference is valued, celebrated and embraced.
By choosing to work with us, you are helping transform the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged people in our community.
Ruah is seeking an experienced and passionate Voice and Inclusion Specialist to lead and coordinate our approach to client and employee voice, inclusion and equitable practice across the organisation.
Reporting to the Executive Manager Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, this role will provide strategic leadership to ensure the voices and experiences of people facing marginalisation are embedded in service design, workforce practices, policy development and organisational decision-making.
A key focus of the role is leading the implementation and continuous improvement of Ruah's LGBTIQA+SB Inclusion Strategy, while strengthening outcomes for diverse communities across our services. Working collaboratively with leaders, staff, clients and community stakeholders, you will help shape a more inclusive organisation where people feel safe, valued and heard.
This is a unique opportunity to influence organisational strategy, drive meaningful change and make a lasting impact on how services are designed and delivered for vulnerable and underrepresented communities.
