Workshop Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead our Helidon depot workshop operations. This role will be responsible for coordinating fleet maintenance activities, supporting our workshop team and ensuring safe, efficient and reliable outcomes for our transport operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Allocate and oversee workshop jobs
• Prioritise repairs to minimise fleet downtime
• Supervise staff and ensure quality workmanship
• Ensure accurate job cards and documentation
• Maintain OH&S compliance and safe work practices
• Monitor workshop condition, equipment, and security
• Support and lead workshop staff

Skills and Experience: 

• Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with supervisory experience
• Strong leadership and workshop management skills
• High attention to detail with compliance and paperwork
• Good communication and organisation skills
• Ability to read work orders and parts information
• HR licence (essential)
• Forklift licence (preferred)
• Experience with Cummins Insite or Mack systems (advantage)
• Australian work rights
