Hair Apprentice

At Runway we believe in creating exceptional client experiences while developing the next generation of talented hair professionals. We’re looking for a passionate, motivated Hair Apprentices who are eager to learn, grow, and become part of a supportive, high-performing salon team.

This role is ideal for someone with a genuine love for hair, fashion, and the beauty industry who is committed to building a long-term career in hairdressing.

Your Role

As a Hair Apprentice, you’ll work alongside our experienced stylists, learning the foundations of hairdressing while helping deliver the premium service our clients know and love.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome clients with warmth, professionalism, and confidence.

• Prepare clients for services, including shampooing, conditioning, and scalp treatments.

• Assist stylists with colouring, cutting, styling, blow-dries, and salon services.

• Maintain immaculate presentation of the salon, workstations, and equipment.

• Clean, sanitise, and organise tools in line with salon hygiene standards.

• Ensure clients enjoy a relaxing, luxury salon experience from arrival to departure.

• Attend and successfully complete all apprenticeship training requirements.

• Develop technical skills through hands-on learning and mentoring.

• Assist with salon retail and confidently recommend professional home-care products as your knowledge grows.

• Support the team with daily salon operations while contributing to a positive and collaborative culture.
