The Opportunity: Contracts Administrator SydneyWe are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our Sydney team.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager and working closely with Project Managers and site teams, you will play a key role in the commercial management and successful delivery of our construction projects.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute construction professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality projects across Sydney and New South Wales.You will: Supporting the project team in the preparation and execution during the procurement of subcontractors and implementing the project procurement strategyVetting contractual documents to ensure company needs are metManagement of client and subcontractor claims process in accordance with the contractManage and assess variations, cash flow and liaison with major subcontractorsManage contract finalisation including defects, manuals and variationsCo-ordination and compilation of monthly reports
About you: This role is ideally suited to someone with:3 - 6 years of proven commercial experience working in a similar project-based contract and financial administration on other major building developmentsFamiliarity with Contract Law principals & construction specific Acts, codes and RegulationsUnderstanding of construction processes and requirementsExperience using CHEOPS, Aconex and similar construction software (training is provided)Additionally, you will be an expert across contract management and have the ability to work independently to resolve contractual issuesYou will be self-motivated, resilient and enjoy working in a close team environment.
