About the Role

As a Coordinator, you will:

• Lead and mentor your team to deliver high-quality care.

• Work closely with management to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.

• Engage with families, school staff, and the community to create a welcoming environment.

• Contribute ideas and feedback in a workplace where your voice matters.

The role offers a balanced roster totaling 35 hours per week with an additional 3 hours educational leader for the coordinator role. Regular hours of work are Monday 6:30 am–9:30 am, Tuesday to Friday 6:30 am–9:00 am, and Monday to Friday 2:00 pm–6:00 pm. In addition, Coordinators attend management meetings each Tuesday from 9:30 am–11:30 am and are allocated 2 hours per week to undertake Educational Leader responsibilities.

Essential Requirements:

• Certificate 3 in Children's Services or equivalent qualification or willingness to complete

• Working with Children Check

• First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates

• Child Protection certificate

• Food Handling certificate

• Experience in OOSH or childcare coordination role

• Previous team leadership experience in childcare setting

• Legal right to work in Australia

• Ability to pass background checks as required for childcare positions

• Geccko Training - Foundations of child safety

Desirable:

• Experience using OWNA

• Previous Educational Leader experience
