As a Coordinator, you will:
Lead and mentor your team to deliver high-quality care.
Work closely with management to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
Engage with families, school staff, and the community to create a welcoming environment.
Contribute ideas and feedback in a workplace where your voice matters.
The role offers a balanced roster totaling 35 hours per week with an additional 3 hours educational leader for the coordinator role. Regular hours of work are Monday 6:30 am–9:30 am, Tuesday to Friday 6:30 am–9:00 am, and Monday to Friday 2:00 pm–6:00 pm. In addition, Coordinators attend management meetings each Tuesday from 9:30 am–11:30 am and are allocated 2 hours per week to undertake Educational Leader responsibilities.
Certificate 3 in Children's Services or equivalent qualification or willingness to complete
Working with Children Check
First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates
Child Protection certificate
Food Handling certificate
Experience in OOSH or childcare coordination role
Previous team leadership experience in childcare setting
Legal right to work in Australia
Ability to pass background checks as required for childcare positions
Geccko Training - Foundations of child safety
Experience using OWNA
Previous Educational Leader experience
