Capsule Filling & Tablet Press Machine Operator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Capsule Filling & Tablet Press Machine Operator. You must have hands-on experience with pharmaceutical or nutraceutical machines and be able to set up, run, adjust and troubleshoot the equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate hard capsule filling machines.

• Set up and operate tablet press / tablet compression machines.

• Change tooling, punches, dies and machine parts for different products.

• Adjust machine settings to control capsule fill weight and tablet weight, hardness and thickness.

• Check production and fix common machine problems.

• Clean, lubricate and carry out basic machine maintenance.

• Identify worn or damaged parts and report repair needs.

• Complete production and machine records correctly.

• Follow GMP, safety, hygiene and company procedures.

About you

• Hands-on experience with hard capsule filling machines.

• Hands-on experience with tablet press / tablet compression machines.

• Good mechanical and troubleshooting skills.

• Able to do machine setup, adjustment, changeover and cleaning.

• Able to work independently and solve common machine problems.

• Basic understanding of GMP and SOP requirements.

• Preferred: Automatic or semi-automatic capsule filling machines.

• Preferred: Rotary tablet press machines, punches and dies.

• Preferred: Powder blending, granulation, deduster or metal detector equipment.

• Preferred: Pharmaceutical machine maintenance or mechanical fitting.
