Dealership Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Financial Controller with the day-to-day financial management of the dealerships.

• Assist day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable

• Processing daily banking activities, customer refunds and pay-outs

• Complete end-of-month processing through to Trial Balance, ensuring reporting deadlines are achieved

• Conduct reconciliations and audits

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards

• Collaborate with management to improve financial processes

Requirements:

• Proven experience in accounting, preferably in the automotive or retail sector

• Strong knowledge of accounting software & Microsoft Office products (Titan DMS experience is a plus)

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Relevant accounting qualifications (CPA or equivalent highly regarded)
