The Role
Remuneration Dependant on Skills and Experience
An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Pharmacist – Cancer Services to join our high-performing Pharmacy Department. In this role, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of clinical pharmacy services to oncology, haematology and day unit patients, across both inpatient and outpatient care.
You will oversee our aseptic services and clinical trials program, and take responsibility for the supervision and development of clinical pharmacists and technicians working within the cancer services team. You'll also step into the role of CHARM Project Officer for the Mildura area, working closely with the Director of Pharmacy, Deputy Director of Pharmacy and other Senior Pharmacists to shape and grow our clinical pharmacy service for cancer patients.
This is a senior, hands-on role offering genuine scope to lead, mentor and make a lasting impact on cancer care in our region.
Essential
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Tertiary qualification (Bachelor or Masters) in PharmacyGeneral registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRAMinimum 2 years' experience in a clinical pharmacy setting, with sound knowledge of pharmacotherapeutics and hospital pharmacy practiceExperience with oncology and/or haematology hospital pharmacy practice
Desirable
Experience with aseptic manufacturingExperience with Clinical TrialsExperience with Merlin and CHARM programsDemonstrated ability to coach, support and supervise pharmacy staff
