Your role in our team

• Approach all tasks and situations with a Safety First mindset.
• Maximise system performance and up-time through effective execution of all maintenance-related activitiesInvestigate and resolve system material flow issues.
• Participate in a broad array of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision.
• Support Production Team through basic fault correction coaching and troubleshooting.
• Assist in the installation of new or refurbishment of existing system components.
• Facilitate continuous improvement activities through broad system knowledge and site-specific enhancements.

Ideal candidate profile

• Qualified Electricians (Qld) / Mechanics / Fitter and Turners / Diesel Mechanics etc.
• Experience maintaining material handling systems in a light industry or distribution centre environment advantageous.
• Strong electrical skills (3-Phase, 415V, DC and 24V controls) and mechanical skills (Preventative Maintenance / Breakdowns, on conveyors, belts, rollers, cranes, bearings etc.)
• Familiarity with electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears)
• Familiarity with control technology (PLC/controls/inverters)
• Knowledge of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring
• Comfort working with wide assortment of computer systems
• Ability to work in and foster a team environment
• Meets the physical fitness requirements including:- Frequent walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing for long periods of time- Working at heights of up to 30 metres (wearing fall-arrest gear and other PPE)- Lifting, pulling and pushing up to 25kgs unassisted
