Project Coordinator/Architect

About the role

We are seeking an organized, proactive Project Coordinator/Architect to support the successful delivery of various design-based projects across our all range of properties. With many exciting updates in the works, this role is ideal for someone who succeeds at multi-tasking, stakeholder coordination and attention to detail. This role is key to the successful planning, administration, communication, scheduling and delivery of our various design projects throughout the project life cycle. Key responsibilities

Architecture:

• Assist in the preparation of designs, floor plan and construction documentation for tender

• With knowledge of the WA planning and BCA code, ensure designs align with building codes, regulations and the project compliance

• Collaborate with external design contractors to design, review within the budget and compliance, produce and conduct regulate reports

• Work collaboratively with all different departments, Country GM and organization CEO to make budgeting and design decisions

Project Coordination:

• Carry out scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and delivery documentation

• Monitor the quality and progress of the discipline on each project, ensuring that production requirements are satisfied and compliance

• Adapt plans based on projected budget, environmental factors, contractors and code requirements

• Produce feasibility studies and timeline creation

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations throughout the project life cycle

• Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services

About you

• Tertiary qualification in Architecture

• 4+ years' experience working in a Project Coordination or similar role

• Experience in budgeting, feasibility studies, site supervision, logistics and scheduling

• Knowledge of basic Architecture software

• Able to work collaboratively between departments and head office team

• Strong communication, administrative and organizational skills

• Proactive, problem-solving mindset
