Bus Service Supervisor

About the Role

In this role, you will support the Bus Service Manager by overseeing the department’s costing and administrative functions. This is a full-time role and based in Derrimut.  You will play an important part in delivering a high level of customer service, meeting repair order costing targets and ensuring accurate record keeping supporting the department’s financial performance.

You will also help build strong customer relationships, support team members and ensure service system records are accurate and up to date.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

Key Responsibilities

• Keep customers updated on the status of repairs
• Schedule service appointments based on customer needs and workshop capacity
• Clearly explain expected timeframes, costs, and payment options
• Ensure customer queries are handled promptly and professionally
• Maintain accurate daily records of all service department activity
• Work with OEM representatives and provide updates to the service team
• Monitor and manage Work in Progress (WIP) to meet daily repair order (RO) targets
• Manage aged and warranty repair orders in line with KPIs
• Ensure completed jobs are invoiced promptly
• Work with key stakeholders to improve WIP processes
• Follow up on outstanding debtor and creditor accounts
• Assist with WHS documentation and actions as required

About You

• Previous supervisory experience is desirable
• Strong commitment to safety and WHS practices
• Solid administration and computer skills
• Strong verbal and written communication and time management skills
• Well-organised with good attention to detail
• Demonstrate initiative, leadership potential, and a positive attitude
