Hinter Vans is looking for an experienced, hands-on builder to join our team in Coolum Beach.

We build premium off-road motorhomes designed for serious adventure, combining structurally advanced construction, quality finishes and reliable off-grid systems. Our vans feature aluminium construction, premium appliances and thoughtfully designed interiors built to withstand demanding Australian conditions.

This is a full-time workshop role for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys varied projects and wants to help create exceptional Off-road vehicles in a friendly, positive working environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Building and fitting out luxury off-road motorhomes

• Installing cabinetry, internal linings, fixtures and appliances

• Completing structural assembly and general fabrication

• Assisting with plumbing, water and off-grid electrical installations

• Reading plans, measuring accurately and solving practical build challenges

• Producing consistently clean, precise and high-quality finishes

• Working collaboratively to keep projects moving efficiently

• Maintaining a safe, organised workshop

About you

This is a skilled position, so previous hands-on building or trade experience is essential.

Campervan, motorhome, caravan or vehicle fit-out experience is strongly preferred. However, we also welcome applications from capable tradespeople whose skills transfer well to this type of work, including:

• Cabinetmakers or joiners

• Carpenters

• Shopfitters

• Fabricators

• Coach or vehicle builders

• Other experienced fit-out or manufacturing tradespeople

You’ll also need:

• Strong attention to detail

• Confidence using hand and power tools

• Accurate measuring and assembly skills

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A practical, solutions-focused approach

• Pride in producing premium-quality work

• Reliability and a strong work ethic

• A current driver’s licence
