Contact Centre Representative

We’re looking for a Contact Centre Representative to join Bargain Car Rentals and be part of our continued growth across Australia.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business in the travel and tourism sector and become part of a team that plays an important role in delivering a great experience for our customers.

Our Contact Centre is based at our national Head Office in the Hobart CBD, offering fantastic views of the Hobart skyline, a modern open-plan workspace and great facilities.

About the Role
As a Contact Centre Representative, you’ll be an important part of our customers’ journey, providing friendly, efficient and knowledgeable service across multiple channels, including phone, email and chat.

Working in a fast-paced Contact Centre environment, you’ll assist customers with enquiries, reservations and booking support, while identifying opportunities to deliver the right rental solution for their needs. The role combines customer care and sales, with a strong focus on creating a positive experience from the very first interaction.

We're looking for someone who would be described as:

• Sociable, approachable and engaging, with strong communication skills

• Someone who understands the importance of policies and procedures, while using sound judgement to achieve positive outcomes for both our customers and the business

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment

• Experienced in a Contact Centre or similar environment – desirable, but not essential

• Most importantly, someone with a positive attitude who enjoys being part of a high-performing team and thrives on the day-to-day hustle as we work together to deliver the very best for our customers and our people.
