About the role
We are currently seeking applications for a Senior Procurement Officer, to join the Office of the Chief Information Officer at the Department of Treasury and Finance for a period of up to 2 years.
Remuneration: ASO7 – Salary Range ($116,089 - $125,490 p.a.).
About the opportunity:
As a Senior Procurement Officer, you’ll play a key role in delivering complex procurements and helping the organisation achieve its strategic objectives. Working closely with a range of stakeholders, you’ll provide expert advice on sourcing and contracting strategies, lead end-to-end procurement activities for ICT goods and services and contribute to informed decision-making through your procurement expertise.

Governance, Portfolio and Business Operations provides strategic, governance and business support services that enable OCIO to deliver on its priorities and outcomes. The directorate brings together specialist functions including strategic advice, program and portfolio governance oversight and reporting, procurement, policy development, communications, engagement and change management, as well as business operations including administration, finance, and workforce operations support. By providing centralised leadership, oversight and support functions, the directorate helps drive organisational alignment, accountability and effective service delivery, and helps ensure OCIO is well-positioned to deliver effective services and value across government.
