Portfolio Governance Manager

Reporting to the Head of Partner Relationships, the Portfolio Governance Manager will lead the uplift, implementation and ongoing management of governance frameworks across key insurer and strategic partner relationships, and new product categories. Working closely with Senior Portfolio Managers, the successful candidate will play a central role in strengthening operational and regulatory governance across different product categories, ensuring partner obligations, controls and compliance requirements are effectively documented, monitored and embedded into day-to-day operations.

This role will also drive continuous improvement across partnership processes, controls and systems, including the review and uplift of partner obligations, oversight on delegated responsibilities and broader team documentation and record-keeping practices.

What are we looking for?

Demonstrated experience in governance, risk, compliance, regulatory affairs, operations, or partner management within financial services, insurance, or a regulated industryStrong understanding of regulatory, governance frameworks and risk management principles – preferrable in insurance industryExperience in managing partner/vendor contractual obligationsStrong understanding of insurance products and regulatory environments in Australia and New ZealandDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders, and manage a program of workExperience with performance reporting and data analysis, using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platformsExcellent communication, problem solving, analytical and critical thinkingStrong project management and process improvement capability
